    This session is perfect for new employees and volunteers to HACC services.  This session will offer participants an understanding of the HACC system.  Topics that will be covered include:

    •             What is HACC and who is it for
    •             How HACC fits in community care
    •             Standards of Care
    •             How to make referrals
    •             Future of HACC
    •             Transition to Department of Health and Ageing

    MDSI is proud to announce the launch of the Macarthur Food Security Project followed by opening and afternoon tea in the new social enterprise CAFE Kulcha on 24 Feb 2-3pm Level 1, Level 1 (Queen St level) 171 - 179 Queen St, Campbelltown Food Security is an important issue with many families requiring agency support to provide food or go without.     The support Services website was established to assist ageing and disability services in South West Sydney to share information with each other.

    This session is being held in a computer room so each participant will gain hands on practice at getting the most out of the Support Services Website. 
    Learning Outcomes include:
    •             Find information and resources on the noticeboard
    •             Search for services in the directory
    •             Add your own information to the website
    •             Update your services’ details
    •             Send an email to services through the website
    •             Send an email with a notice board attachment
