    This Forum will identify and bring together the various Networks operating in the community services and related sectors across Campbelltown to share information and generate opportunities for collaboration. The aims of this Forum are to:
    - create a strong network of well-informed linked community services providers;
    - provide opportunities for greater collaboration; and
    - provide mechanisms for access to relevant networks in the region.

  • WORKER HEALTH AND SAFETY SEMINAR

    With the move from OH&S to WHS it is vital that the workforce and particularly employers and managers have a thorough knowledge of the changes to legislation and their impact on the workplace.

    This seminar aims to inform participants about compliance with the OH &S requirements of induction and training and to help to ensure you have the right cover particularly around volunteers. fines and penalties.

    The seminar will include the following:

    • Presentation on the new O H & S Act:  George Hyland – Work Cover – NSW  -- 9am to 10.30am
    • Insurance options and thoughts: Steve Kavanagh - Insurance Advisernet  --  11am to 11.45am
    • Presentation about Employment Practices Compliance Solution:  Ed Mallett – Employsure - 11.45am to 12.30pm.

    MDSI is proud to announce the launch of the Macarthur Food Security Project followed by opening and afternoon tea in the new social enterprise CAFE Kulcha on 24 Feb 2-3pm Level 1, Level 1 (Queen St level) 171 - 179 Queen St, Campbelltown Food Security is an important issue with many families requiring agency support to provide food or go without.
