"The whole community working together to meet human needs."
Community services often struggle with back office functions such as human resources, business administration and tender writing. It is a challenge to find the right people, and with limited financial resources, who can pay corporate prices?
Sector Connect is currently working to set up a pilot back office project in the Macarthur/Wingecarribee region. Our aim is to support organisations by providing them with a suite of resources and services at not for profit costs.
This will not only provide local expertise to services at a time when accountability requirements are becoming much tighter, but will also provide flexible employment opportunities and bridge the gap between the business and community service sectors.
