"The whole community working together to meet human needs."

Families NSW is a whole of government strategy for prevention and early intervention that aims to give children the best start in life. This is achieved by working with families expecting a baby or with children aged up to 8 years.
Families NSW aims to achieve the following outcomes:

Families NSW also actively advocates for many issues relating to the provision of child and family services, which primarily arise from the Macarthur Child and Family Interagency discussions.
The Families NSW Facilitation Project also provides training and skills development to equip child and family workers to more effectively meet the needs of this target group. Go to Training to see courses currently available.
