Family Healing
Muru Nanga Mai Incorporated was the idea of the members of the Yura Yulang CDAT. After long discussions it was decided that for individuals and the community to reach their full potential there must be a non-political and non-nepotistic organisation for this to be achieved. Muru Nanga Mai, a holistic healing program that is working towards achieving social and emotional well-being, not only for the group's participants but for the whole of the Aboriginal community. Muru Nanga Mai is the umbrella organisation under which the Men's, Women's and Youth Groups will sit as well as any program that is developing workshops, such as:
- Family Violence
- Parenting Skills
- Grief and Loss, Intergenerational Trauma
- Sexual Health
- Sexual Assault
- Self Esteem
- Anger Management
