Managers Network

AIMS OF MANAGER NETWORK:

      • To support, improve & sustain the community service sector in Macarthur and Wingecarribee through addressing managerial & strategic issues in a more collaborative way
      • Uphold principles of social justice
      • Improve the coordinated collaborative approach to service provision
      • Effect change at policy level
      • Engage with regional issues to influence planning
      • Work collaboratively on joint projects
      • Communicate regional information
      • Provide a united voice for lobbying
      • Improve and sustain the community services sector in Macarthur and Wingecarribee
      • Research, discuss and consider new trends and initiatives and their impact on service delivery
      • Utilise member's skills to provide each other with support, knowledge an advice
      • An experimental space to reflect on issues and ideas
      • Identify and implement opportunities for professional development and training e.g. Business Training
      • Affordable group supervision by a qualified professional supervisor

       

      MEMBERSHIP

      Membership is open to individuals and organisations from the Macarthur and Wingecarribee regions that have managerial or strategic responsibilities in their work with community services and are in a senior decision making role.

          • Membership is primarily for non-government organisations
          • Government agencies are welcome and important to many of the discussions but priority will be given to non-government issues
          • For the network to be effective members need to be committed to attend

          If you are a representative for an LGA / area / target group or region within Macarthur / Wingecarribee, the Managers Network is keen to hear from you.

          The Managers Network is in the process of collating information on representatives to be available on Sector Connect's website.  The aim is to ensure people have access to the right people when issues arise and that the real needs and issues of the region are heard.
