Training
Sector Connect works in partnership with several training organisations to provide professional development opportunities for community sector workers.
We conduct surveys to identify the key issues or needs within our region, and arrange appropriate workshops or accredited training sessions utilising Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), TAFE and the University of Western Sydney (UWS).
Past subject areas have included fundraising, agency marketing and promotion, tender writing, budgeting and supervision for team leaders, along with skills development workshops relating more specifically to service delivery.
We produce a biannual training calendar that is distributed to over 750 community services sector contacts. Click on the link below to see the range of courses currently available.
