Corrective Services NSW is establishing 10 High Intensity Program Units in correctional centres across the state and is seeking NGOs to assist with delivering services and programs to offenders.
The new units are designed to address the therapeutic needs of up to 1, 200 inmates on short-term custodial sentences by providing intensive services and programs over a four-month period. The program will focus on: domestic violence, general violence and aggression, female inmates and Aboriginal inmates.
