    This session is perfect for new employees and volunteers to HACC services.  This session will offer participants an understanding of the HACC system.  Topics that will be covered include:

    •             What is HACC and who is it for
    •             How HACC fits in community care
    •             Standards of Care
    •             How to make referrals
    •             Future of HACC
    •             Transition to Department of Health and Ageing

  • Grantmaking in Australia Conference 2012 - Join the Revolution!

    I'd like to take a moment of your time to remind you that this year’s Grantmaking in Australia conference – the premier professional development event for Australian grants managers and officers - is less than 3 weeks away.  If you haven't registered for this event yet, I would encourage you to do so soon so that you don't miss out.

    The conference is the key activity of the Australian Institute of Grants Management (AIGM), a division of Our Community. This year we will be rallying forces to continue the ongoing reform of grantmaking in Australia – we hope you’ll be part of it!

    At the Grants Management Conference you will:

    • Discover new approaches to key tasks from administration to evaluation
    • Meet your peers and swap war stories, tips and tools
    • Hear the latest developments in grantmaking technology
    • Hear how to improve transparency and outcomes
    • Get the chance to contribute your own ideas and expertise.

    As in previous years, this year’s conference will include a half-day Masterclass for Local Government Grantmakers on Thursday, 23 February. In addition, the conference will provide the opportunity to learn more about SmartyGrants –the AIGM’s best practice grants management system and the most widely used grants management software in Australia. The full conference, a not-to-be-missed event for all grantmakers and grants managers across the country, is on Friday, 24 February.

    MDSI is proud to announce the launch of the Macarthur Food Security Project followed by opening and afternoon tea in the new social enterprise CAFE Kulcha on 24 Feb 2-3pm Level 1, Level 1 (Queen St level) 171 - 179 Queen St, Campbelltown Food Security is an important issue with many families requiring agency support to provide food or go without.
