Minister Scullion: Port Curtis Coral Coast Indigenous Land Use Agreement

A historic Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) covering about 22,000 square kilometres of land and water has been signed at a ceremony in Gladstone, Queensland, today.

The agreement has been struck between the Gladstone, Bundaberg and Burnett regional councils, the Gidarjil Cultural Heritage Corporation and the Applicant for the Port Curtis Coral Coast native title claim group.

Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Nigel Scullion, said the ILUA was an important milestone in the journey of the Port Curtis coastal native title claim group.
